For the third consecutive year Team Chrome Ollie has claimed the Mid-Pacific Regional Steel Bridge Overall Championship. Besides the Overall, Chrome O took top honors in Lightness, Construction Speed, Structural Efficiency, and Construction Economy. Thanks go out to our friends at Cal for putting up Mid-Pac 2006. First place in Stiffness and Aesthetics went to Chico State who finished in 3 rd Place Overall. Huge congratulations to the Cal Berkeley Steel Bridge Team for qualifying Nationally with their 2 nd Place Overall finish. The 2006 National Student Steel Bridge Competition (NSSBC) will be hosted by the University of Utah in Salt Lake City from May 26-27. More information can be found at: www.steelbridge2006.com
