Professor Dan Chang, of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, has won the ASUCD Excellence in Education Award in the engineering category. Professor Chang was chosen for this award because of his excellence in teaching and for his positive impact on the lives of UC Davis students.
The ASUCD Excellence in Education Award is a student-initiated award, which makes Professor Chang's achievement all the more noteworthy. He was one of seven professors chosen out of three hundred nominations.
