Professor Jason DeJong is a recipient of ASCE's Arthur Casagrande Professional Development Award for 2008.

From ASCE's web site: "This award was established to provide professional development opportunities for outstanding young (under 35) practitioners, researchers, and teachers of geotechnical engineering."

It is viewed as ASCE's "best geotech under 35" award, and is normally awarded to one person each year. This year the award is being given to two recipients, Jason and Laurie Baise.  This a great recognition of Jason's accomplishments.

Congratulations Jason!
