Professor Sashi Kunnath Receives the 2008 Raymond C. Reese Research Prize
Professor Sashi Kunnath and his former Doctoral student Erol Kalkan Receive the 2008 Raymond C. Reese Research Prize. The award citation reads “For the paper, “Adaptive Modal Combination Procedure for Nonlinear Static Analysis of Building Structures,” Journal of Structural Engineering, November 2006.” Selection for this award the committee particularly noted their development of new pushover analysis procedure for evaluation of seismic performance.
The award will be presented to Kunnath and Kalkan during the Structures Congress, April 24, 2008 in Vancouver, BC, Canada.
