Jason DeJong receives 2016 College of Engineering Outstanding Faculty Award

The College of Engineering has announced the 2016 Outstanding Faculty Awards and Jason T. DeJong, Professor in the Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering, has earned the Outstanding Mid-Career Faculty Research Award. Professor DeJong has been a faculty member at UC Davis since 2005 and currently directs research at the Soil Interactions Laboratory. The College of Engineering notes that, “Professor DeJong’s research has been funded through grants totaling more than $7 million and has appeared in more than 125 publications.” Professor DeJong’s work has been aknowledged through many awards, including the ASTM International Hogentogler Award, the ICE TK Hsieh Prize, the ASCE Huber Research Prize, the ASCE Casagrande Professional Development Award, and the Prakash Research Award.
