Professor Mark Rashid's
research interests fall within the general area of solid mechanics, with
particular emphasis on computational methods and fracture mechanics. Other
topics of special interest include blast loading and other fluid-structure
interaction problems, MEMS devices, and material modeling. Dr. Rashid's
fracture analysis research code FEFRAC is available for free download on
this website. FEFRAC is a finite-element-based simulation tool for
nonlinear fracture, and contains many innovative and powerful features. Also
find information on some of Dr. Rashid's other research projects and teaching
activities at the University of California, Davis. |
