My name is Temitope Ogunyoku but people call me Temi. I received my B.S in Chemical Engineering at
the University of California, Riverside. I am currently a graduate student in the
Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at the University of California,
Davis (UC Davis). I am majoring in
Environmental Engineering with a focus on wastewater treatment. My research involves the determination of the
fate and transport of Triclocarban and Triclosan in biosolid processes and soils. Besides academia, I am a board member of
Engineers Without Borders at Davis (EWB-Davis). Our chapter is currently working with a
community in Uganda
to build sustainable systems that will improve their drinking water and
sanitation.
