UC Davis Teaching Assistant Consulting Program Info Session

Are you a graduate student who wants to develop your skills as a college instructor?  Do you enjoy collaborative work and value diverse learning environments?  If you answered yes, the Teaching Assistant Consulting program may be for you.  TA Consultants facilitate workshops and provide consultations for TAs and graduate student instructors. They also receive a monthly fellowship and gain valuable professional experience.

The TAC program is a place to practice and develop skills in cultural competence, effective communication, leadership, and student-centered teaching practices.

The program will accept applications beginning in late November for the fellowship period which runs from Spring 2016 through Winter 2017.  To learn more, please join us for a brown bag information session on Nov. 16 or 19 from 12:00-1:00 in Surge III 1360.  At the info sessions you’ll be able to learn more about the program, hear from current TACs and get your questions answered.
