Daret Kehlet

Designs and fabricates novel equipment for use in research projects, instructional lab classes, and student competition projects. Designs, assembles, tests, operates, repairs and maintains specialized research equipment. Operates large structural testing machines and designs safe fixtures and procedures to perform research testing. Instructs researchers and students in department laboratories and instructional classes, and provides training to student assistant employees who work in the labs and machine shops. Serves as Departmental Asset Representative for all equipment.
