Lake Tahoe: Can We Save It?

Dr. Geoffrey Schladow, a Professor in the Department of  Civil and Environmental Engineering, is the director of the Tahoe Environmental Research Center (TERC). TERC conducts research on the water quality, physical processes, and ecology of Lake Tahoe and it’s watershed to form a better understanding of how to protect the lake and keep it unspoiled for future generations to enjoy. Their research is applied to policy decisions regarding Lake Tahoe and can also be used to help understand lakes around the world.
